Open Online Course: Circumpolar Innovation

The International Centre for Northern Governance and Development, centered out of the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, SK, Canada, conducts research on Northern Saskatchewan, the Provincial Norths in Canada, and the Circumpolar North around the issues of governance; health and social development; innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development; capacity building; and resource development and environmental management.
On behalf of the ICNGD, we would like to pass on the following information regarding a new free and non-credit open online course that examines how scientific and technological innovation is shaping economic and social development in the north. Offered Feb 23-May 5 2015, Circumpolar Innovation, will be taught by internationally-renowned scholar and Canada Research Chair, Ken Coates.
