Young Vision Award: Russian-German Contest at USTU

On March 27 (Friday) Yulia N. Lebedeva, corporate events and internal communications specialist, the company Wintershall Russland GmbH, paid a working visit to Ukhta to make a presentation of the Young Vision Award contest for USTU students and teachers.

The arrival of the specialist was organized by USTU International Office specialists. On the same day the office of G.V. Korshunov, Vice-Rector for External Affairs - adviser to the rector (Chief of Staff in the rector's office) hosted a working meeting on the prospects for participation of Ukhta State Technical University in the third annual competition for students of German and Russian universities 'Young Visions Award 2015'. G.V. Korshunov informed the company's specialist and delivered a presentation on USTU, in which he elaborated on the university facilities, departments and laboratories, and also stressed the importance of establishing partnerships with one of the leading international oil and gas companies. G.V. Korshunov also noted that the educational establishment has research institutes in its structure, where students and postgraduates can implement their own research projects, inter alia, in conjunction with the enterprises of fuel and energy complex - the university's foreign and domestic partners.

On March 28, the International Office hosted the meeting of USTU teachers and students with Yulia Lebedeva. Ms. Lebedeva familiarized participants with activities of the company Wintershall and gave details about participation in the competition of student projects 'Young Vision Award'. The specialist of the international company gave full and complete replies to the questions from students.
