Christmas Tea Party at Krokhal

Christmas is a season of celebration and sharing, a time filled with joy and happiness and a moment of putting smiles on the faces of people around you. During this season, the International Department of USTU organized a Christmas tea party for the students of the preparatory department and other international students of the university. The event took place on December 25, 2016 at the recreational center of the university “Krokhal”.

On this wonderful day, some of the students and a professor from the U.S. sung a number of Christmas songs and shared biscuits, cakes and some sweets amongst themselves and the staff of the international department.

Not forgetting the main purpose of the party, the students also drunk tea and made merry.

Some university staff who were spending their Christmas at the recreational center were also invited to join the students sing some Christmas songs in the Russian language.

After an hour or two of singing, dancing and making merry, the students and the staff of the international department decided to move out to take a walk in the snowy woods, upon which they had a snow fight and made a #mannequinchallenge video.

All the students who took part in the Christmas tea party had a new experience of enjoying Christmas with a beautiful new family of people from different parts of the world.
