The first AIS meeting at USTU

Upon the opening of the Association of International Students (AIS), Ukhta branch, a meeting was held on February 3, 2016 at the big physics auditorium to inform the international students about the association, their aims and the benefits international students gain from being a part of this association.

Anton Grigoriev, the head of the international department, led the meeting and explained the importance and aims of the association to all those who were present at the meeting. He also spoke on the importance of all international students joining hands together to make the newly opened association a success and electing a president who is going to lead and serve as a representative of AIS, Ukhta branch.

During the meeting, some students also gave their opinions about the opening of the association on the fact that, the association should be aimed not only at solving problems of international students, but also organizing programs and events amongst all international students and the Russian students as well, which will create a unity between students with different backgrounds and cultures.
