The preparatory course 2017: Mission is completed
Today, on 25th July, 2017 there was a solemn awarding of certificates to the international students who completed the preparatory course. It is worth reminding that the preparatory course is meant to prepare foreign citizens for study programs of Bachelor and Master degree in Russian.
A. Grigoriev, head of International Department, gave the start of the ceremony. He turned to international students with a welcoming speech and noted the importance of the Russian language not only for their future careers, but also on a global level. The teachers, who helped the students to get lots of knowledge in Russian, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, attended the ceremony as well and wished the students to develop their skills in every subject they learned during the year, because the completing of the preparatory course is not the end, but the beginning of the next stage of their life and study in Russia. The meeting was continued with the awarding ceremony of certificates.
This year the preparatory department had 2 groups of international students and issued 12 certificates of completion. The international students are from such countries as DR Congo, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, the Philippines, India.
All the students, who had passed final exams and received their certificates, made up their minds regarding the program they wanted to study at USTU. And from 1st September, 2017 they will continue their education at the university and start studying together with Russian students.
At the moment the international department of USTU continues to receive online applications from international citizens wishing to study in Russia. You can find more details about it at: http://en.ugtu.net/preparatory-course
