Bicycle Night
Once a year the University in association with local companies arranges the Bicycle Night. This is a night when every inhabitant of Ukhta can take a bicycle and make a fun ride along the streets of the evening town all together. Usually it is held at the beginning of June and it gathers together more than 1500 people. Due to the geographical location of Ukhta, there are "white nights" in summer, which means that it is never dark at nights all summer long. So the Bicycle Night looks more like the Bicycle Day.
