There are five routes how to get from Moscow to Ukhta. It depends on the Moscow airport you are going to land in. For you convenience please learn more about Moscow Metro and Russian trains. In addition to that, if you happened to have any kind of problems with Metro, you could as well order taxi services. We recommend to use either of two following services:

  1. Uber taxi. Uber is a technology platform. The Uber app connects driver-partners and riders. Riders are quoted the fare that they will pay before requesting the ride. Uber uses a dynamic pricing model; prices vary based on projected time and distance as well as the time of day and the supply and demand for rides at the time the ride is requested. At the end of the ride, payment is made based on the rider's pre-selected preferences, which could be a credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or cash. We provide you a guide How to use Uber.
  2. GetTaxi. Gett is the free, on-demand transport and lifestyle app that allows you to easily book a taxi in Moscow and other cities. Available on iPhone and Android, Gett is the go-to app for getting what you need delivered to you, whenever you need it. We provide an unbeatable experience for our passengers, business users and drivers alike by giving them the most reliable, quickest and safest way to get the things they need, and get around.

We highly recommend you to purchase a local SIM-card with connection to the Internet after the arrival to Moscow airport in order to stay in touch with us and let us help you and answer all the questions. There are outlets and shops in the airports where you can get yourself a SIM-card of local operators such as Megafon, Beeline, MTC. Tele2. The average cost is usually about 200-300 rubles. Along the way to Ukhta you may happen to have to buy something in Russia (e.g food, tickets to Metro, tickets to Ukhta if you haven’t bought it yet etc.) if that happened you would need to have cash money in rubles because here in Russia we do not accept dollars. However, we inform you that the exchange rate at airports is quite overvalued, and henсe advising you not to exchange all the money you have, but only the amount you are going to need to get to Ukhta.
