Quest for the first year students
On the 1st of October the prize-giving ceremony of teams which took part in the first year student Quest was held in a large lecture hall of USTU.
The Quest for the first year students was organized by student council and students trade union for the 6th time at the university. This year it was on the 27th of September.
A major aim of that activity was to introduce fresh students to each other and show the structure of university buildings. For the first time 23 teams wanted to participate in this competition, but in fact only 18 teams per 7 members in each team did. The participants were furiously fighting for the first place. The route consisted of 16 destinations including university buildings A, B, V, G and E. To overcome all barriers the participants needed not only to be fit and have a sparkling mind, but also be a team. It means to learn how to understand each other quickly, support a team spirit and help each other. The participants successfully coped with this task.
