French representatives of PathControl and DrillScan at USTU

From 21st to 22nd November 2016, the President of the Board of Directors of PathControl, Ludovic Macresy and the Sales Manager of DrillScan (Russian and Caspian region), Gabriel Cavey visited Ukhta State Technical University. The main purpose of this visit was to gain acquaintance with the university complex of USTU and participate in the IV Arctic Symposium of SPE «Way to the Arctic».

Upon their arrival at Ukhta, members of the delegation immediately went to the business incubator, where the first day of the Symposium of the World Society of Petroleum Engineers, SPE «Way to the Arctic: challenges and prospects for the development of hydrocarbon reserves» was held. On 22nd November, Ludovic Macresy, who has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, gave a lecture, made a presentation on the topic: «Modern technologies improve the quality of wiring horizontal wellbore». This lecture was held in the Large Physics Auditorium of USTU.

For the delegation there was an excursion in the Museum of USTU and a tour through university’s personalized auditoriums and laboratories organized. They also communicated with the staff of the Department of Oil and gas fields and visited the university’s sports complex “Burevestnik”.
