Portuguese club

The Language Club adopts a communicative approach to the teaching of Portuguese as a foreign language. The courses are very interactive and grammar and vocabulary are learned in context. Class dynamics make use of simulation activities encouraging students’ language practice. Practice classes, such as visits to supermarkets, banks and trekking in the neighborhood are also adopted. In general, the courses cover the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Aspects of Angolan culture are also included in the course syllabus.
