III International Belomorsky Students Forum

We are pleased to announce that on November 23-24, 2015 the Northern Arctic Federal University (Arkhangelsk) is hosting the III International Belomorsky Students Forum. This year alongside with other objectives the Forum will be dedicated to the issues of enhancing international cooperation of young people with a special focus on the Barents Euro-Arctic Region, disseminating the success stories of Barents youth cooperation and planning future joint initiatives. The Forum is held as a part of a big cultural event Barents Bird Festival that is expected to contribute to the cultural programme of the Forum.

The event is financially supported by the Russian Federation  Government - as Russia is taking its chairmanship in the Barents Euro-Arctic Council this October - and co-organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Arkhangelsk Region Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Norwegian Barents Secretariat, BEAC Joint Working Group on Education and Research and Joint Working Group on Youth.

The Forum will get together  the young leaders and students from universities and colleges of all over Russia and Barents area, representatives from students associations and societies, invited key-speakers and trainers,  public authorities, businesses, mass media and other organizations (totally over 300 people). We will be happy to see the students from Barents universities and colleges as participants of the III International Students Forum and contributors to the discussion arenas about the Barents youth cooperation covering such issues as students’ self-governance, exchange opportunities, international projects, lectures, Barents universities exhibition and presentation sessions, etc.

Registration is open until October 15, 2015.
