Dinamo - Planet University merge

Ukhta basketball club "Planet - University" and Moscow "Dynamo" signed a strategic cooperation agreement at sports complex "Burevestnik".

The president of the club "Dynamo" Gore Khechoyan and USTU Rector Nikolai Tskhadaya affixed their signatures to the agreement and exchanged gifts. The meeting was attended by the deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the club "Dynamo", the Olympic champion, multiple European champion, Merited Coach of the USSR and Russia, Ph.D. Eugenie Gomelsky, Assistant Chief of the Interior Troops of Ministry of Interior of Russian Federation, Vladimir Malofeev, vice -president of BC "Dinamo", Sergei Skorochkin, Lieutenant Colonel CSK Interior Troops Ministry of Interior of  Russia, Vitaly Luzin, deputy chairman of "Dynamo" department in RK, Edward Podrezov and other representatives of Moscow club .

"Strategic cooperation agreement with the club "Dynamo" will allow us to develop basketball and hit record high, Rector Nikolai Tskhadaya said. It's not just about the players of the basic teams, but it is also about the creation of children basketball school, juniors, and internships for coaching staff of the higher education institute. The main result will be the creation of a professional team, the conquest of new trophies and participation in the Super League game".

In the near future partners plan to create common database of the players, recruitment and training of teams coaching staff.
The club, which essentially plays without foreign players, which has a unique system of training and the players here are a good half of the youth and junior national team, visited the home of the first Russian oil for a few hours. During this time, the delegation of the Moscow club held a press conference for university media, visited the named audiences, a unique university museum and attended a friendly match between the players of the "Dynamo" and "Planet University". At the end of the program Moscow players held a master class.

Now USTU BC "Planet - University" changed its name to BC "Dinamo - Planet University".
