USTU and Rossotrudnichestvo have signed a cooperation agreement

Ukhta State Technical University and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) have signed a cooperation agreement.

On December 24, in Moscow, the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Kosachev Konstantin, and USTU Rector, Professor Nikolai Tskhadaya, have signed a document, which provides cooperation between the parties for the development, promotion and support of Russian education abroad.

Joint activity includes fostering institutional partnerships between the educational research community in Russia and abroad, development of academic mobility of students and professors, attracting foreign citizens’ interest to Russia, its language, culture, history, obtaining Russian education, assistance in promoting the image of Russia abroad.

The two sides also approved a plan of Rossotrudnichestvo and USTU joint activities. The following year, within the framework of cooperation, there will be a presentation of the project of the International Information Project of Media Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises of Fuel and Energy and Mineral Resources Complexes «UTime news» for administration and relevant departments of Rossotrudnichestvo. It is also planned to establish primary partnerships and business contacts with leading foreign universities, representatives of academia, business and artistic circles of the host countries.
