As Natalia Inyatkina, acting Deputy Director General of Human Resources, LLC Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta told to journalists, an event aimed at exposing Ukhta University students to vacancies available at the company's enterprises was previously conducted only within Days of Gazprom at USTU. It's for the first time it takes place in the format of job fair.

"All our vacant positions are real. First of all, this concerns working specialties: instruments and controls specialists, communications specialists, engineers", said Natalya Inyatkina. "Mostly students of 4th - 5th years of studies apply to us, and they either are considering near term employment or are looking for flexible working hours. The latter can combine their work and getting higher professional education. Upon graduation, in addition to category they will have experience that gives big advantage over other applicants and is appreciated at production site."

All in all, the fair proposed about 200 vacant positions. According to the students, this event gives them a real chance to find workplace after graduation. But in order to give the alumni a chance of employment, for example, in Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta, greater collaboration is required between University and the company. As stressed by Natalia Inyatkina, the University must create serious methodological, scientific, laboratory and technical infrastructure that can enable to deliver training at the highest professional level.
