USTU and Rossotrudnichestvo Sign a Work Plan for 2015

Ukhta State Technical University and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) signed a work plan for 2015.

Among the areas of focus the following ones are stated: assistance of Rossotrudnichestvo representations to assist USTU in establishing the primary partner and business contacts with leading foreign educational institutions, representatives of academic, business and artistic circles of host countries; holding of presentations of USTU educational programmes and qualifications for the followers of the Russian language courses at the Rossotrudnichestvo representations around the world; joint actions on the foreign citizens’ selection and recruitment to training at USTU in the framework of implementing the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 8, 2013, № 891; mutual information support and other promising areas of collaboration.

The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) is a federal executive body responsible for rendering state services and managing state property to ensure and develop international relations between the Russian Federation and the member-states of the Commonwealth of Independent States and other foreign countries, as well as to foster international humanitarian cooperation. Rossotrudnichestvo is subordinated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Ukhta State Technical University has been working with Rossotrudnichestvo for the second year. In December 2013 USTU and Rossotrudnichestvo signed an agreement, which marked the beginning of joint work.
