Republican ethno forum "We are Russians. The common destiny is a single union"

On 31st October, 2017 in the Finno-Ugric ethnopark in the village of Yb in the Syktyvdinsky district  a national ethno forum "We are Russians. The common destiny is a single union" was held. It gathered together about 200 people: members of national-cultural and patriotic associations, public figures, representatives of republican and municipal authorities, student youth.

International students of Ukhta State Technical University took part in the forum as well, mostly students of the preparatory course accompanied by their teacher of the Russian language.

Upon the arrival our students were met by Komi Pera the Bogatyr. For them, he organized a tour through the ethnocultural park, and also told them about customs, traditions and way of life of the Finno-Ugric tribes. Then  the official part of the ethnoforum started, after which the forum participants enjoyed dances of the peoples of the world and took part in the ethnic quest "People's Unity", whose goal was to break up into teams and to come first by carrying out various tasks throughout the ethnopark.

At the end of the forum ourinternational students were impressed from the participation.
