The Counsellor of the Republic of Cameroon visited USTU

In the period from 26th to 28th April 2018, USTU has been visited by Kuoma Jean Cottin Gellin, the Counsellor of the Republic of Cameroon. The main purpose of the visit was primarily to acquaintance the visitor with the university complex and discuss areas of collaboration in education and academic sectors.

During the visit the Counsellor managed to see all the significant objects of the campus of USTU such as personalized lecture rooms of Gazprom, Lukoil, and Transneft, which are situated in the “A” building and Mining and Oil College including training ground. He also visited USTU museum and swimming pool.

On 27th April Mr. Kuoma Jean met the vice-rector for External Relations. After that he talked to international students from Cameroon, Congo and Equatorial Guinea. They told him about their life in Ukhta, and how it is like to study at USTU.

The trip has become a continuation of a collaboration between USTU and the Embassy to the Republic of Cameroon in Moscow.
