Student of the USTU - Volunteer of the 6th Forum of the Future Leaders of the World Petroleum Council
During the week, from June 23, a student of the “Advertising and Public Relations” direction, intern of the USTU international department, Azeez Adebiyi took part as a volunteer in the 6th Forum of Future Leaders of the World Petroleum Council. The organizer of the event is the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council. The organizing committee is headed by Alexander Novak, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The Forum is a unique platform for sharing experiences, the latest information and advanced achievements of the oil and gas industry. It is one of the central events in the oil and gas industry. The forum has about 2000 young professionals, students and graduate students.
Volunteers have access to attend all technical sessions of the event, they can put into practice their knowledge and skills, improve their communication and teamwork skills, and establish professional and friendly contacts with forum participants from around the world.
Reference: The World Petroleum Council was established in 1933 as a non-profit, non-political organization focused on promoting the management and use of world's oil resources. Russia's interests in the World Petroleum Council are represented by the Russian National Committee.
Every three years, the World Petroleum Council holds the World Petroleum Congress, which covers all aspects of the industry, including industrial governance and its social, economic and environmental impact. Twice - in 1971 and in 2014 - World oil congresses were held in Moscow. Since 2004, youth forums are held regularly, once every 3 years. St. Petersburg took the baton from Rio de Janeiro.
