USTU was visited by the President of the Academy of Mining Sciences

On August 8, 2019, in the office of LUKOIL - Engineering LLC in Ukhta, a meeting was held under the leadership of the President of the Academy of Mining Sciences, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuri Malyshev. USTU vice-rector for scientific work Ivan Kurta also took part in the working meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for the development of the Yarega super-viscous oil field.

After the meeting, the delegation visited Ukhta State Technical University. For the guests, a tour was organized in the unioversity museum, as well as in the auditorium-laboratory complex of the main building of the university. Colleagues discussed the possibilities and formats of cooperation in the field of vocational education and science. The main result of the meeting was the determination of new ways to develope interaction between of LUKOIL Companies and Ukhta University.
