Twelfth International Forum "Rassokhin's Readings"

The Twelfth International Forum "Rassokhin's Readings" is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Ukhta branch of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC. On February 6 and 7, the Ukhta State Technical University hosts the traditional international conference “Rassokhin's Readings”, devoted to the problems of developing gas, gas condensate, and oil and gas condensate fields.

The event has a geography of more than 15 regions of Russia and neighboring countries, the number of organizations is more than 50. The traditional participants of the forum are Gazprom PJSC and subsidiaries of the Company, representatives of LUKOIL and PJSC Transneft, universities participating in the Consortium of Mineral Resources complex, scientific and research institutes and organizations, and many others.

The Forum has long and firmly established itself as one of the key events in the field of fundamental and applied natural gas science - and this is nothing more than a statement of an obvious fact, many times confirmed by the active attention to the "Rassokhin Readings" by the wide scientific and university public, leading industry enterprises region and government officials. However, focusing on the objects of scientific research, the conference in its current scale inevitably affects economic, environmental and geopolitical aspects. Thus, the forum’s modern mission is thought to be strategic in relation to the oil and gas industry, which is the locomotive of the economic development of the Komi Republic and Russia.

Upon completion of the grand opening, the forum continued its work in the following sections: “Geology, exploration and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits”; “Development and operation of oil and gas fields”; “Actual issues of the trunk transport of oil and gas”; “Physical and mathematical modeling in oil and gas business” and “Modern problems of oil and gas production and drilling mechanics”.
