Doctors from all over Republic came to USTU on collegium of the Ministry of Health

On July 18, at Ukhta State Technical University took place the first day of a meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Health of Komi Republic "On measures to improve the availability and quality of health care for the rural population".

Representatives of the health care institutions of different cities of Komi Republic came to Ukhta University in order to present their reports and to share practical knowledge with colleagues in their professional field.

The main issues of the event were dedicated to the residents of the villages. The health professionals will hear the reports of their colleagues about how to organize quality medical care to villagers, to provide medicines and to provide obstetric care in time.

The collegium was opened by the Minister of Health of Komi Republic, Yaroslav Bordyug, head of the administration of the Municipal District Urban District "Ukhta", Igor Leonov, and Ukhta State Technical University rector, Professor Nikolai Tskhadaya.

After all, we are the consumers of your services, that is, your art and your professionalism. UGTU pays great attention to the health of their students and their active work, Nikolai Tskhadaya welcomed the guests of the University.

According to the physical therapy clinic of the city on January 1, 2013, about 38 000 people are engaged in a variety kinds of sport and physical culture. Among them only about 8,000 are USTU students. According to the Rector of the Ukhta University, physical education and sport in high educational institutions is the key to health and health promotion.

Collegium of the Ministry of Health is scheduled for two days and will last until July 19. All events will take place at USTU.
