There was the meeting on "Gas Segment" in USTU

 On the eve of the New Year in Ukhta University there was a meeting on the creation of a "gas segment" of innovative regional clusters of Komi Republic "Oil and gas technology".

It was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Transport of Komi Republic, the faculties, departments and the divisions of USTU, LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta", LLC "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ukhta", LLC "Gazprom processing", the branch "Ukhta drilling" LLC "Gazprom drilling", the branch of LLC " Gazprom VNIIGAZ in Ukhta of Ukhta branch of LLC" Gazpromptrans ", the branch" Gazprombank "(JSC) in Ukhta, Ukhta branch of JSC" SOGAZ".

The current direction s of the activity of USTU departments in oil and gas and other projects in the oil and gas cluster were discussed at the meeting. The participants noted that currently USTU has corresponding infrastructure, there is sufficient human and scientific potential to form the basis for the university complex "gas segment" of the territorial clusters of Komi Republic "Oil and gas technology." At the end, it was decided to recognize the segment cluster as formed and recommend to consider developing a system of measures to attract of the federal and republican budgets, as well as companies - participants of the "gas segment "of the cluster to USTU (that is the "core of the cluster") by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Transport of Komi Republic.
