Meeting with representatives of the British Consulate General in St. Petersburg
On Friday, 24th of November 2017, the Vice-Rector for External Relations of Ukhta State Technical University, Georgy Korshunov held a working meeting with the Deputy Consul General of Great Britain (St. Petersburg), Elizabeth Webb and Public Relations Adviser, Tatyana Raudson at the British Consulate General in St. Petersburg,
During the meeting, representatives of the Consulate thoroughly acquainted themselves with the university's activities in training specialists for various industries in Russia and other countries, research and development, and international projects that are being implemented at the university in cooperation with partner organizations, including the Arctic.
The participants also discussed possible directions and ways of establishing cooperation between Ukhta University and companies and universities of Great Britain.
This meeting was a continuation of the contact established by the rector of the USTU, Professor Nikolai Tskhadai during the Russo-British commodity dialogue "Trust and Reliability as an Element of Sustainable Development", which was held in St. Petersburg on October 18-19, 2017.
