International students took part in winter competition

On 1st March, 2015 international students of the preparatory course by the International Department took part in winter competition, which were held not far from the health resort of USTU “Planeta Universitet”.

It was their first camping to the north forest. During winter competition international students had a good opportunity to communicate with professional sportsmen and try their hands at camping activities, but the most interesting was overcoming the obstacle by zip line.

Transneft and USTU: New Level of Cooperation

On Wednesday, February 12, led by the Company's first vice-president Maxim Grishanin a delegation of OJSC AK Transneft paid visit to Ukhta State University. The visit was aimed at getting acquainted with the possibilities of Ukhta State Technical University, which is a center for training engineers to be employed by the company's enterprises, in particular, by JSC Transneft-Sever.

During  this week a delegation of specialists form nonprofit Association of Teachers of Total Group and the company Total E&P Russie will work at Ukhta State Technical University. The representatives of the international concern engaged in hydrocarbon exploration and production, marketing and trading arrived to Ukhta for the first time.

Kadirova, Hockey women team at Ukhta State Technical University

BUFFALO – Finland looked to have the upset win in the bag after putting up a 3-0 lead against Russia at the 2015 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship quarter-final game. But the Russians had other ideas, as the team engineered a third period comeback that was finished off by a breakaway score from Fanuza Kadirova with just three second left in regulation, pushing the Russians into a semi-final rematch with Canada.
